The concept of the infant nutrition plant has been the basis for the design of this installation. As volumes are significantly higher in the animal nutrition, this customer was presented with a solution where 4 Active-SoliValves® will be mounted on a travelling cart collecting raw materials from a total of 16 hoppers. As each Active-SoliValve® is feeding to a GIW device located within the collecting hopper, 4 products can be dosed at once, meaning a theoretical capacity of 80 individual doses per hour (this does not take into account the emptying of the collecting hopper).
